Summer 2008 is just around the corner, only 50 days left until campers arrive and camp is beginning to buzz with excitement as the necessary preparations are being made! The Theme for the summer is HEROES...this year the campers will embark on a strengthening adventure based on the theme verse Joshua 1:9 "This is my command, be strong and courageous Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." As they journey through the week they will learn how to lean on God for the strength that they need in any situation they may face. We are confident as a staff that God will move powerfully though the camp this summer and touch the lives and hearts of the campers! So, in closing, keep in prayer the campers as they get excited to become HEROES and our staff as they prepare for the summer. It will be incredible to see they way that Christ moves and works at Covenant Pines this Summer.
