The staff is getting ready for our trailblazers to come up this afternoon! It has been an amazing summer so far and we are looking forward to see how God moves in the campers lives this week! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we love and serve the Lord.

2010 Jr. High 2 Saturday

Today is rainy and overcast. The campers are busy cleaning up their cabins, packing up their things and getting ready to head back home. It has been an amazing week of learning, fun and fellowship. We have one last chapel session left this morning to sing songs and reflect on what we have learned. After that the kids get to throw some staff members into the lake and then head to lunch. We hope and pray that when the campers return home you will help them to continue learning and growing in God's word. Thanks for all the prayers and support! It is a blessing to see the way God moves people here at camp.

Today is one of the most exciting days for Jr. High! Today is PACK ATTACK DAY! All the cabins have been split into packs early in the week. The campers have spent time getting to know each other, put together some fun ideas and create some awesome cheers! Today they get to use them all. The Pack Attack is a giant relay race that takes place over the entire camp property. There are a variety of skills that are involved from physical skills, mental skills, crafty skills and teamwork skills. The team that puts all of them together and crosses the finish line first wins! Today is an exciting day because it is BEACH BASH day! In addition to all the other fun things we do at camp, today we grill out and enjoy the water God has given us to enjoy! We will be posting some pictures of the fun on our Facebook Fan Page! Check it out at "www.facebook.com/covenantpines".

2010 Jr. High 2 Wednesday

This week is going very well! The kids are having a great time learning, playing and enjoying nature! Our speaker for the week is Mark Hakanson who is the youth pastor at Community Covenant Church. He has been doing a great job engaging the kids at chapel each night. Besides chapel the kids have been playing fun games like capture the duck and whip n strip. Today is also the start of our Pack Attack where cabins get into groups and begin planning for the big Pack Attack Relay Race at the end of the week! Today has been another wonderful day at camp! It is sunny and beautiful. The kids played a little capture the duck last night and have another full day of activities today. Please keep all of us in your prayers! God bless!

2010 Trailblazer 1 Saturday

Today we are wrapping up our Trailblazer 1 week. It has been a great week of learning and fun. It is always amazing to see God working in kids lives! The staff and kids are cleaning up camp, the kids are packing up and they will leave after lunch. We hope to see all of them again next year! God bless and have an awesome summer!

Today is the last full day for Trailblazer 1. It has been a great week filled with lots of fun and learning. It is a privilege to be a part of these campers lives. It is another beautiful day and there is still much fun to be had. I know the kids will have plenty of good stories to tell their parents when they return home tomorrow. Today is another beautiful, sunny day! Camp is drying out after the storm we had yesterday. The kids had their sports themed dinner last night which was a lot of fun. Later today we have our beach bash and later tonight we have our drama. It should be another fun filled day at camp! Thanks for your continued prayers and support! God Bless!!

Today has been a muggy day. The day started off with a thunderstorm and lots of rain. Other than that, the day has been a pretty typical camp day. The campers are enjoying the big game right now and will move onto free time after that. Please keep us all in your prayers! God bless.

2010 Jr. High 1 Thursday

Yet another beautiful day here at Covenant Pines! The Jr. Highers have had one of the most beautiful and pleasant weeks of the summer so far. Today we have our beach bash where we grill outside for lunch and play beach games all over camp. Then, later tonight we have our drama put on by the staff. It should be a fun day. 2010 July Family Camp Sunday

It has been a hot and sticky couple of days. I think everybody has taken advantage of the swimming area at least once during this weekend. Despite the high humidity we have been having lots of fun here at Covenant Pines. Last night there was a fireworks display put on by our Executive Director, Bruce Peterson, with the help of his son Mark and two of our kitchen staff Chris Proctor and Matt Gilbert. 2010 Family Camp Friday

Today is another beautiful day at Covenant Pines! We are in our first full day of Family Camp this summer. Today we have a BBQ lunch outside, the all camp kickball game and a Friday night movie!
