2010 End of Youth Summer Camps

It has been a great summer. Hundreds of kids came through camp this year, played games, sang in chapel, spent time with one another and with God in his beautiful creation. New lives were dedicated to Christ and others were rededicated. It has been a challenging and powerful experience for our staff to be part of such a wonderful experience for the kids. God has continually shown his power in campers and staff alike. But as the summer has come to an end we pray that the message these kids received will continue to be with them. We pray that it continues to shape and mold them and that they would be aware that God does not live just at Covenant Pines but that he is present with them wherever they go. And please remember the staff that remains at Covenant Pines and please keep us in your prayers as we continue our ministry throughout the year as we move, yet again, towards another summer. Today we all had a chance to sleep in a little bit and recoup some of our energy. It is another beautiful day and there are still lots of things to do before the week comes to an end. The highlight of today is the Sr. High Banquet. The kids and staff will get dressed up and enjoy an extravagant meal from our talented kitchen staff! God Bless!

Thursday was a great day! There was lots of fun to be had and was highlighted by the staff verses campers dodgeball game. The day was capped of by an amazing vespers service! It is amazing to see God working in the lives of these Sr. Highers!

2010 Sr. High 2 Monday

Today is our first day of Sr. High 2! We are all excited for this upcoming week and the chance to interact with the campers. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
